Biography
A voice of lyric Beauty
Stylianos Skiadas is a rising lyrical tenor, distinguished for his moving voice, artistic integrity, and refined stage presence. His performances are marked by authenticity and emotional depth, creating a genuine and powerful connection with the audience.
He was born in Athens in 1998 into a middle-class family. His musical journey began at the age of seven with piano lessons, and a few years later he discovered his passion for classical singing. Since then, he has pursued this path with absolute dedication and discipline.
A decisive point in his artistic development was his admission to the Music School of Ilion in Attica, where he was accepted as the top candidate. This major achievement reinforced the young Stylianos’s commitment to a professional musical career. During his years there, his teachers recognized him as an emerging musical talent.
After finishing school, coming from a middle-class background, he worked hard in various jobs in order to fund his music studies and fulfill his great dream: to become a tenor. In every workplace, he stood out as a person of talent, integrity, and diligence.
As a restless spirit, Stylianos also studied Theology at RHEMA Bible College, walking his own unique and solitary spiritual path. This spiritual dimension is reflected in his musical approach, adding a distinctive philosophical resonance to his performances.
He completed his classical singing studies at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory, graduating with top honors and first prize, under the guidance of the distinguished tenor Stamatis Beris, former director of the Greek National Opera. His vocal development continues through ongoing studies with renowned mentors such as Christina Giannakopoulou, Peter Edelmann, and Sebastian Vittucci, who support and shape the continuous cultivation of his voice and technique.
Stylianos has appeared on some of Greece’s most important stages, including the Greek National Opera, the Alternative Stage, the Athens Concert Hall, and the “Maria Callas” Municipal Music Theatre. He has collaborated with the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation’s Musical Ensembles, the City of Athens Musical Ensembles, and the Greek National Opera Chorus, participating in numerous productions and concerts.
A significant milestone in his artistic career is his admission to the Chorakademie of the Vienna State Opera (Wiener Staatsoper), one of Europe’s most prestigious lyrical institutions. He currently resides in Vienna, where he actively takes part in high-level productions and gains invaluable experience in a vibrant international environment.
An artist is shaped away from the spotlight—in hours of silence, discipline, and deep listening. Stylianos chooses to walk this path with focus, bringing to life an art form that speaks not only to the mind but above all to the human soul.
